Phased structural steel operations delivered without the stoppages that a mis-staged load creates. The campus came online in August 2025.
The job
Meta's Kansas City campus sits in the Golden Plains Technology Park, north-east of I-435 and US-169, on land developed by Diode Ventures.
The first building is roughly a million square feet. The park is approved for 5.5 million across sixteen buildings, which means the site is less a project than a rolling programme — one phase erecting while the next is being received.
At that density, material handling is the schedule. Steel has to arrive in erection order and be staged where the crane can reach it on the day it is needed. A load dropped in the wrong sequence does not cost an hour — it stops an erection crew cold.

Staging inside crane reach
Laydown planned around the crane's working radius for that phase, so nothing needed a second pick to get where it was going.
Phase-to-phase handover
Staging re-planned as each building phase advanced, coordinated with Turner and the other trades sharing the same haul roads.
